Congratulations to all the winners!
As always you will find post fight news related to this event under the SPOILERS tab in this thread.

Spoiler:
Alistair Overeem needed less than half of one round to win his first fight in the UFC, landing hard kicks and knees to Brock Lesnar's body and winning a first-round technical knockout at UFC 141.

Overeem landed a kick to the liver that knocked Lesnar down, then swarmed on him and landed punches on the ground until referee Mario Yamasaki stepped in to stop the fight. The bout lasted only two minutes, 26 seconds.

Afterward Lesnar, who has been battling diverticulitis over the last two years, said he would no longer compete in the UFC.

"My hat's off to Alistair Overeem," Lesnar said afterward. "I've had a difficult couple of years and I'm going to officially say tonight was the last time you're going to see me in the Octagon." A former WWE star, Lesnar has enough money that he never has to work again, and it's no surprise that he doesn't feel the need to put his body through the rigors of an MMA career anymore.

As for Overeem, he was as good as advertised.

"Today was all about bad intentions -- first or second round, I promised," Overeem said afterward, referring to his pre-fight prediction that he would finish Lesnar in one or two rounds.

Lesnar, surprisingly, opened the fight by throwing a couple of leg kicks, and Overeem responded by throwing a looping right hand that missed. A minute into the first round Lesnar attempted a single-leg takedown, and Overeem shook him off. Overeem went on the attack and landed knees to Lesnar's body, while Lesnar landed a punch that opened a cut over Overeem's right eye.

But those attacks to Lesnar's body were all Overeem needed. Lesnar's striking defense just isn't good enough to handle the striking of a former K-1 champion like Overeem, who referred to his finishing shot as a "K-1 body kick.

Overeem, a former champion in Strikeforce, Dream and K-1, will now face UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos. That fight will determine who's at the top of a UFC heavyweight division that no longer includes Lesnar.

Spoiler:
Johny Hendricks, Nate Diaz and Donald Cerrone each earned $75,000 fight-night bonuses for their performances at Friday's UFC 141 event.

Hendricks earned the night's "Knockout of the Night" award, and Diaz and Cerrone earned "Fight of the Night" honors. No "Submission of the Night" bonus was awarded since no fight qualified.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) learned of the bonus winners and award amounts at UFC 141's post-fight press conference.

UFC 141 took place at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. The night's main card aired on pay-per-view, and portions of the preliminary card streamed on Facebook and aired on Spike TV.

Hendricks earned his award following a 12-second victory over perennial welterweight contender Jon Fitch in a main-card bout. A solid left hook sealed the deal for the surging 170-pounder.

Diaz and Cerrone, meanwhile, fought in the night's co-headliner and the biggest grudge match of the night. After bad blood throughout the week, Diaz jumped out to an early lead with crisp and overwhelming striking. Cerrone mixed in some solid kicks, but he couldn't overcome Diaz's frequency of strikes. Diaz ultimately earned a clear-cut unanimous-decision victory.

Spoiler:
The full list of UFC 141's disclosed paydays included:

Alistair Overeem: $385,714.28 (includes $121,428.57 win bonus)
def. Brock Lesnar: $400,000

def. Donald Cerrone: $30,000

Johny Hendricks: $52,000 (includes $26,000 win bonus)
def. Jon Fitch: $60,000

Alexander Gustafsson: $32,000 (includes $16,000 win bonus)
def. Vladimir Matyushenko: $40,000

Jim Hettes: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus)
def. Nam Phan: $8,000

Ross Pearson: $40,000 (includes $20,000 win bonus)
def. Junior Assuncao: $8,000

Danny Castillo: $38,000 (includes $19,000 win bonus)
def. Anthony Njokuani: $12,000

Dong Hyun Kim: $82,000 (includes $41,000 win bonus)

def. Manny Gamburyan: $18,000

Spoiler:
UFC welterweights Matt Riddle (5-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) and Luis Ramos (19-7 MMA, 0-1 UFC) lost the opportunity to compete at UFC 141, but they did not lose out on a paycheck.

In fact, according to UFC officials, both fighters went home with not only their "show" money but also with their win bonuses, as well.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today learned of the promotion's decision from sources within the organization.

Riddle vs. Ramos was scheduled to be the second fight of the Friday night's fight card at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena and was slated to stream on Facebook. However, Riddle was ill throughout the day of the fight and was ultimately unable to gain clearance to compete.

It's believed Riddle's weightcut may have contributed to his condition. MMAjunkie.com learned from sources close to the fighter that Riddle was vomiting throughout the day, and the Nevada State Athletic Commission pulled him from the contest mere hours before the event. Riddle was reportedly trying to persuade the commission to allow him to fight, but he was ultimately unsuccessful.

According to a pay schedule distributed on Friday night, Ramos was scheduled to make $12,000 with a victory at UFC 141. Riddle was on the books for $30,000. According to UFC officials, both scored the full amount.

Because the bout did not actually take place, the payments are not considered part of the event's official payroll.

Riddle looked to snap a two-fight losing streak, the first such run of his career. A rare fighter who has fought all of his professional contests in the octagon, he was beaten by UFC newcomer Lance Benoist this past September but was rewarded with a "Fight of the Night" bonus following the UFC Fight Night 25 bout.

Riddle also dropped a decision to Sean Pierson at 2010's UFC 124 card.

Ramos was knocked out by Erick Silva in his octagon debut at UFC 134, which snapped a three-fight win streak. The 30-year-old Nova Uniao product has been stopped just twice in his career – both times via stoppages due to strikes.

Spoiler:
Alistair Overeem (36-11 MMA, 1-0 UFC) was paid in full for UFC 141.

Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Keith Kizer today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that he did not withhold any portion of the heavyweight's purse, as ordered by a Nevada judge.

A UFC official confirmed that a $200,000 bond required to execute the order was not deposited prior to the event.

The commission was to hold around $240,000 of Overeem's pay in escrow per a judgement obtained this past Friday by his former team, Golden Glory, in a Nevada District Court. The same day, Overeem took on and defeated Brock Lesnar in the headliner of UFC 141, which took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and aired on pay-per-view.

At the post-event press conference, Overeem, whose disclosed pay totaled $385,714.28, said he had no knowledge of the court order.

A representative for the team said the judgement was requested when no progress had been made on a legal dispute that began in November when Overeem sued them in a California court for breach of contract.

"The reality is that a fighter is paid within 24 hours of the bout," stated Golden Glory lawyer Roderick J. Lindblom in a press release issued this past Friday. "Given past failure to pay management and training fees, there is serious concern on my client's part that Mr. Overeem will simply walk away with the money."

The order requested a check totaling $241,285.49 be cut from UFC parent company Zuffa to Golden Glory's corporate parent, Knockout Investments. The money included Overeem's show and win purses, performance bonuses and proceeds from the event's pay-per-view broadcast.

The day before the court order, Golden Glory filed suit alleging heavyweight did not pay a 30 percent commission owed to the team for a fight in June against Fabricio Werdum. In his suit, Overeem claimed the team owed him $151,000 in back pay and asked a judge to determine whether his contract is enforceable.

Overeem is expected to fight current UFC champ Junior Dos Santos sometime this year.
