Post subject: transfering torrents to new computer?

hi yall, this is my first post on this forum. i just got a new computer for xmas and i need to find out how to transfer all my torrents onto utorrent on this computer. i used utorrent on the old computer. all the torrents are saved direct to an external harddrive. any help would be awsume. seasons greetings everyone. thanks todd

Todd, what you are looking to do first is to add each torrent 1 at a time, and as you add them, browse to the directory that each one is in on your external drive, it will re-check the files, then start seeding again. Once 1 is done, move on to the next. It takes some time and I've been meaning to put together an instructional on how to do just this for awhile but haven't gotten around to it yet. If you have any problems, feel free to ask whatever questions you have and I'll be glad to help. Maybe this week I'll finally get around to making that tutorial but in the meantime, I'll check here so post any problems or other questions here.
