KSW XII is an upcomming MMA event to be held by the Polish promotion KSW on December 11, 2009 in Warsaw, Poland. It is the twelfth numerical event from KSW and their fifteenth MMA event in total. Scheduled for this event, apart from the final bout of the middleweight <85 kg tournament from KSW XI between Aslambek Saidov and Vitor Nóbrega is another 8-man tournament - a heavyweight <105 kg competition, said to include 4 foreign and 4 polish fighters. All polish participants are young fighters from very accomplished MMA gyms. Wojciech Orłowski and Daniel Omielańczuk train under judo olympic gold medalist and PRIDE veteran Paweł Nastula, Michał Kowalski is a protege of polish MMA legend Grzegorz Jakubowski and Karol Bedorf trains under Piotr Bagiński (first BJJ black belt in Poland and accomplished european submission fighter). The foreign fighters are yet unknown.
The headliner is a superfight between 5-time World's Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski and pro boxer Marcin Najman, both making their MMA debut. Other announced non-tournament fights include Maciej Górski against TUF 9 contestant Dean Amasinger and Daniel Dowda against Cage Rage veteran James Zikic.
