I laugh at the notion that "the graphics look stunning"; they're obviously confusing this game with UFC Undisputed, because the EA game looks cartoonish.

Not to mention Braces Shamrock is on commentary. Will players be subjected to the dumb "key to victory" before a fight?

To LARMORE:

Have you tried Fight Night Round 4?... I had UFC Undisputed, but once I tried FNR4 I never came back. The feeling is MUCH more organic, and it actually kinda looks like a fight when Undisputed looks like an arcade-game some times.

EA Sports MMA is supposedly based on the FNR4 engine, so I have no doubt in my mind that the gameplay will be ALOT better that Undisputed. The trailer didn't really impress me, but I can't wait for the demo... whenever that comes.

I need some gameplay video before I can comment further. I have a few things to say:

1. The preview pic looks like a bi-racial couple from the sims. Hardly any detail whatsoever. Don't ask, don't tell.

2. I'd love to think that since FNR4 was great, this will be too. But the reality is, a great engine does not make a solid game. It's too early for me to think this game will be good. UFC: Undisputed is a solid game for a first time UFC sports game. I still enjoy playing it once or twice a week. I'm not willing to give EA 65 bucks for a game I won't play very often. Maybe in a few years, but I'm very suspect. They told Dana they didn't think the sport was viable enough to create a game. Then EA saw how popular it was, decided to make a game of their own. That's kinda shady. Still, if it is a solid game I'll pick it up.

3. I need more Big John in games. That's all I have to say on that subject.
