http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-2171 ... at-UFC-108 Quote: I interviewed Wanderlei Silva tonight at his Las Vegas gym and asked him if he's signed to fight Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 108. “No, because I won't be ready to fight until February. I don't know with who, but in February or after February I'm gonna fight. I don't know if he's gonna be waiting for me, but if he's gonna fight in February, I'll fight with him, no problem.” If Akiyama takes another fight, I asked, is there another opponent that interests him? “For sure. But for me, it doesn't matter who. No matter the name, I'm ready to fight. I'm ready for all.” Silva also added that his diet is going well and the weight that he needs to shed to compete at middleweight is slowly coming off. He plans on dropping to 195 pounds and then cutting 10 pounds the week of the fight. Update: UFC 110 is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on February 20, 2010 in Sydney, Australia at the Acer Arena.
