Eduardo Dantas was originally scheduled to defend his title in the category Batanweight against Joe Warren in the main event. However, on 26 April 2014 it was revealed that Eduardo Dantas was injured head and could not join the fight. Warren instead will face Rafael Silva.
Bellator 118 will feature the Bellator Bantamweight interim title for Rafael Silva as he faces Joe Warren.
The Welterweight semifinals bout between Andrey Koreshkov and Sam Oropeza originally set for Bellator 115 was rescheduled to this card.
