Background
This Event will be headlined by reigning Welterweight Champion Steve Carl making the first title defense of his career. Taking Carl is former UFC vet Rousimar Palhares, who will be fighting for the first time since his release from the UFC back in October.
The inaugural Bantamweight Championship will be on the line in the co-main event which features, Marlon Moraes taking on Josh Rettinghouse. Moraes is coming off his 32 second knockout over Carson Beebe at WSOF 6. Rettinghouse is coming off his decision victory over Bellator vet Alexis Vila.
Also on the card making his first appearance since his release from the UFC, Yushin Okami is scheduled to take on Bulgarian fighter Svetlozar Savov in his WSOF debut.
