Only 2 months removed from her UFC debut, Rousey was named one of the top 50 women who are changing the world by Business Insider.

It's only been a short couple months since UFC women's Bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey made her debut at UFC 157. Challenger LIz Carmouche gave Ronda her longest fight to date, but was still submitted with only seconds left in the first round.

The fight marked a milestone in UFC history as the first ever women's bout in the promotion and Rousey's role in making that happen hasn't gone unnoticed. On Sunday, Business Insider published a list of "50 Women Who Are Changing The World". Rousey took her spot at #42. It's not an understatement by BI that Rousey is responsible for the ladies having their chance to fight in the Octagon. The UFC 157 was always built and hyped around Rousey and UFC president Dana White referred to the company's experiment with WMMA as "The Ronda Rousey Show".

With the success of the event and a few other exciting fights since, the UFC is giving a definitive push to the women's division. When the next season of The Ultimate Fighter premiers on Fox Sports 1, it will feature a strong cast of well-known women's Bantamweight contestants. Additionally, the coaches will be Ronda and her next contender Cat Zingano who won the spot with a violent TKO finish of Miesha Tate at the TUF 17 Finale last month.
