Although much of the UFC's live and recorded content will move from FX and FUEL TV to the new FOX Sports 1 channel later this year, officials haven't decided where "The Ultimate Fighter" reality series will end up.

The show, which currently airs on FX, could remain with its current home, or it may be shifted to FOX Sports 1 when it launched in August.

"That's all still a work in progress," UFC President Dana White said over the weekend. "I won't be the one to make that decision."

Earlier this month, FOX officials announced the creation of FOX Sports 1. The all-sports channel, which will replace SPEED, is set to debut in approximately 90 million homes. The channel, which executives hope will compete with ESPN, is slated to feature a variety of sports content aside from the UFC, including the MLB, NASCAR, NCAA basketball and football, and international soccer.

The channel could get a big boost with the 18th season of "TUF," which is expected to debut in September. As White announced over the weekend, it'll be a historic season. UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will serve as the first-ever female head coach with either Miesha Tate or Cat Zingano, who fight next month. Additionally, the show will feature both male and female 135-pound fighters, and they'll live in the same house. "TUF" has never featured female fighters.

The coaches are than expected to fight at a pay-per-view event, likely in December.

"TUF," which debuted in 2005 on Spike TV and has launched the careers of nearly 200 UFC fighters, is currently in its 17th season. The show currently averages a little more than 1.2 million viewers per week.
