| Post subject: | Pitbull Injured; De Lorenzi Gets New Bellator Lightweight Tourney Opponent |
Sherdog.com is reporting that Patricky Freire has injured his knee and will not compete in the Bellator MMA Lightweight tournament. Freire was scheduled to face Canada’s Guillaume De Lorenzi this Thursday, January 31 at Bellator 87. With Pitbull out, De Lorenzi will now face Saad Awad in the Bellator tournament. Awad was to face Jason Fischer on the Bellator 87 undercard. Awad does have a four fight winning streak heading into the tournament.
