It's that time of year again, fight fans, when the mixed martial arts (MMA) community assembles to pat itself on the back and hand out recycled bowling trophies.
And get dressed up real fancy!
The Fighters Only 'World MMA Awards' will once again partner with FOX Sports inside 'The Joint' at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Fri., Jan. 11, 2013, with the tape-delayed broadcast airing nationally on Sun., Jan. 20 at 9 p.m. ET. Replays will also be available on FUEL TV at a later date.

No, MMAmania.com wasn't nominated for any awards (again), because we don't have anyone working for Fighters Only (nor do we pay to play). Besides, they don't hand out trophies for posting pictures of Brittney Palmer's ass or recycled dick jokes. I'll never sell out!

Anyway, live entertainment includes Otherwise performing their hit single "Soldiers," in addition to Absinthe, a bizarre Vegas act that does some kind of acrobatic shtick. Should fit right in with co-host Chael Sonnen, who's always good for a few zingers.
And you never know who will turn up drunk and steal the show.
