With tickets on sale this week for the upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 7 event in London, a pair of featherweights appear set to meet as UFC/WEC veteran Josh ‘The Fluke’ Grispi (14-4) takes on English fighter Andy ‘The Little Axe’ Ogle (8-2) at the February show.
News of the matchup was first reported by Fighters Only who confirmed the news with sources close to the fight.
UFC on FUEL TV 7 is expected to take place on Saturday 16th February, 2013 at the Wembley Arena in London, England.
Grispi is fighting for his job after three straight Octagon losses. ‘The Fluke’ has yet to win under the UFC banner, losing to Rani Yahya by submission last August at UFC on FOX 4, via knockout versus George Roop at the TUF 13 Finale and by decision against Dustin Poirier at UFC 125. That last loss, ended a ten fight win streak which included four victories in the WEC over LC Davis, Jens Pulver, Micah Miller, and Mark Hominick.
Ogle debuted with the UFC this past September at the Nittingham, England event losing a split decision to Swedish fighter Akira Corassani at UFC on FUEL TV 5. The loss was his first in two years after winning seven straight under local promotions in England.
