The Ultimate Fighter: Live Finale is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It is expected to take place on June 1, 2012 at the Palms Casino Resort in Paradise, Nevada, United States.

Background

The main event for the event will be a five, five-minute round fight between Jake Ellenberger and Martin Kampmann. Kampmann is going into this bout off a third round submission win over Thiago Alves in the main event of UFC on FX: Alves vs. Kampmann. Ellenberger currently has a six fight win streak, most recently defeating Diego Sanchez by decision in the main event of UFC on Fuel TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger.

Byron Bloodworth was scheduled to face John Albert at the event. However, Bloodworth was forced out of the bout and replaced by promotional newcomer Erik Perez
