The Ultimate Fighter's final season on Spike TV will be one for the little guys.

Season 14 of the Ultimate Fighting Championship's reality show features featherweights and bantamweights, coached by Michael "The Count" Bisping and Jason "Mayhem" Miller. Notable names in the 32-man cast include:

• Carson "Little Juggernaut" Beebe (6-1) - Bantamweight. Brother of Chase Beebe, former champion of World Extreme Cagefighting. Trains in a Chicago suburb at Gilbert Grappling. Was undefeated until March, when he suffered his first loss shortly before the TUF tryouts. At age 22 with only 17 months of pro fighting experience, he's one of the younger cast members.

• BJ Ferguson (6-2) and Josh Ferguson (7-3) - Bantamweight. Speaking of brothers, these siblings from Louisville's All-American MMA made the 32-man roster, though it remains to be seen whether both (or any) survive the first-round matches. Josh is the smaller one, having fought at 125 pounds in the past. Both are skilled grapplers with several submission wins between them.

• T.J. Dillashaw (4-0) - Bantamweight. Carries considerable expectations coming from the premier camp for smaller fighters, Team Alpha Male in Sacramento. Like most members of that stable, has a wrestling background and an aptitude for chokes.

• John "The Magician" Dodson (11-5) - Bantamweight. A member of the Jackson-Winkeljohn camp in Albuquerque, N.M. Like Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson, better suited as a 125-pounder, although he has fought at bantamweight. Quick hands, fast feet and unusually acrobatic, even by flyweight standards. Has the ebullient personality to match his energetic style in the cage. Listed at No. 11 in FightMatrix's flyweight rankings.

• Brandon Merkt (11-0) - Bantamweight. Perfect record includes seven wins via some form of choke, but only fought three opponents with winning records. Went to a decision against the only one with double-digit wins. Another fighter who might be a good fit at 125 pounds when UFC institutes the weight class.

• Matt Jaggers (20-7) - Bantamweight. Has more experience on big stages than any other 135-pounder this season, with time in Bellator Fighting Championships, Sengoku, King of the Cage and EliteXC, in addition to regional fights. Defeated one of his fellow cast members, Indianapolis bantamweight Orville Smith, in an October 2008 bout for EliteXC. Viewers of Japanese MMA may recall Jaggers falling prey to a rare standing head-and-arm choke applied by Marlon Sandro in a March 2009 fight under the Sengoku banner.

• Paul McVeigh (18-6) - Bantamweight. A nine-year veteran from the Dinky Ninjas stable in Glasgow, Scotland. Fought several times in the United Kingdom's Cage Warriors promotion. Skilled with submissions.

• Louis Gaudinot (6-1) - Bantamweight. Trains at the New York area camp run by Tiger Schulmann and has fought all his bouts for the New Jersey-based Ring of Combat promotion. Last fight was a September 2010 guillotine-choke submission of M-1 Global veteran Jessie Riggleman. Yet another fellow moving up to get into UFC; FightMatrix ranks Gaudinot No. 13 for flyweights.

• Stephen "Bigfish" Bass (10-0) - Featherweight. Five submission wins reflects his jiu-jitsu pedigree from well-known Lloyd Irvin. Last fought professionally in October 2009.

• Dennis Bermudez (7-2) - Featherweight. Based in Massapequa, N.Y., trains with Long Island MMA. Hoping to regain momentum after suffering the first two losses of his career. Last win was a decision against UFC veteran Shannon Gugerty.

• Bryan Caraway (15-5) - Featherweight. Another Team Alpha Male member. Currently dating Strikeforce 135-pound champion Miesha "Takedown" Tate. Lost both of his WEC fights, won both of his Strikeforce bouts and went 1-0 in EliteXC. Dangerous with chokes.

• Micah Miller (17-4) - Featherweight. Trains at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Fla. Younger brother of UFC lightweight Cole Miller, with whom he shares a flair for submissions -- Micah tapped out nine opponents in his career. Went 2-2 in WEC in 2007-2008. Went 0-2 in fights on the Japanese circuit.

• Eric Marriott (20-5) - Featherweight. Nearly submitted Bellator champion Joe Warren with a triangle choke in the first round of their April 2010 bout before losing a decision. Also fought in one of the more prominent regional promotions, Titan Fighting Championships, in his home base of Kansas City, where he works with Grind House MMA.

• Jimmie Rivera (8-1) - Featherweight. Like Gaudinot, a Tiger Schulmann student from the New York metro area. But Rivera has a broader spectrum of experience that includes stints with Bellator and King of the Cage. Last September he defeated Abel Cullum, a veteran of Dream and EliteXC. Although Rivera is entering TUF as a featherweight, he's actually known as a 135-pounder -- Bloody Elbow earlier this year labeled Jimmie Rivera as the No. 3 bantamweight prospect outside a major promotion.

• Hamid "Akira" Corassani (9-3) - Featherweight. Fights out of Gothenburg, Sweden, making himthe first TUF athlete from Scandinavia, an area that UFC officials have identified as a growth market in Europe.

• Karsten Lenjoint (7-1) - Featherweight. Englishman trains with the Wolfslair Academy, the MMA home of Michael Bisping and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, among others.

• Steven Siler (18-9) - Featherweight. Only 24 years old, yet already has 27 fights under his belt. Has more than a passing familiarity with TUF success -- teammates at Riven Academy in Utah include Season 11 winner Court McGee and Season13 finalist Ramsey Nijem; it's also the camp of UFC veteran Josh Burkman.

The rest of the cast includes:

BANTAMWEIGHTS
John Albert (6-1) - Puyallup, Wash.
Johnny Bedford (17-9) - Watuga, Texas
Roland Delorme (6-1) - Winnipeg
Casey Dyer (6-1) - New Castle, Ind.
Tateki Matsuda (6-2) - Boston
Dustin Pague (9-4) - Centreville, Va.
Orville Smith (11-3) - Indianapolis

FEATHERWEIGHTS
Diego Brandao (13-7) - Albuquerque, N.M.
Marcus Brimage (3-1) - Coconut Creek, Fla.
Josh Clopton (4-0-1) - San Francisco
Dustin Neace (22-17) - Granite City, Ill.
Jesse Newell (6-1) - Ventura, Calif.
Brian Pearman (7-1) - Springfield, Mo.
Bryson Wailehua-Hansen (5-1) - Honolulu

Half of the cast won't survive the two-hour season premiere on Sept. 21. Producers brought back elimination fights for the opening episode, after doing away with them for Season 13. The use of two weight classes marks a return from a longer hiatus; Seasons 10 through 13 focused on one division.

TUF will move to the FX channel after this season, as part of UFC's new deal with Fox TV.
