MILWAUKEE – MMAjunkie.com (
http://www.mmajunkie.com) was on scene and reporting live from today's official "UFC on Versus 5: Hardy vs. Lyle" fighter weigh-ins.
Today's festivities took place Milwaukee's Harley-Davidson Museum, and the nearby Bradley Center hosts Sunday's Versus-televised card.
The only fighter who failed to make weight on his first attempt was Dan Hardy, who weighed 171.5 pounds even after stripping and weighing in twice. Opponent Chris Lytle weighed a comfortable 170.5 pounds.
Immediately after the main-event weigh-in, Hardy and Lytle held a quick conference with UFC president Dana White. Lytle appeared to signal that he'd overlook the infraction. However, Hardy continued the weight cut and eventually made the 171-pound limit (weighing 170 pounds) about an hour after the weigh-in festivities concluded.
Co-headliner Ben Henderson also needed to weigh in twice, though he eventually hit the needed 156-pound mark. His opponent, Jim Miller, weighed 155.5 pounds.
