UFC Live on Versus 6: Cruz vs. Johnson is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on October 1, 2011 at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.[1]. The event will be the first the promotion has held in the US capital, and the first title fight on free television since UFC 75 in September 2007, between Rampage Jackson and Dan Henderson.

Background

Fabio Maldonado was expected to face Aaron Rosa in a light-heavyweight bout, but was pulled from the card due to an injury. A replacement was being sought but according to the UFC website this fight has been scrapped.

Jeff Hougland was expected to face Mike Easton in a Bantamweight bout, but has been injured and replaced by UFC newcomer Byron Bloodworth.

I'm really excited for this event, mainly because of Stefan Struve, who trains at Team Schreiber where I train as well, I hope he does well, because for him it's a do or die match. If he loses he has to leave the UFC, and I would hate it if he had to!
Also take notion of Bob Schreiber, who is in his ring, he's a beast both inside and on side of the ring, check his earlier fights from before he had do retire!
