Jon Jones has been a busy man as of late, running down a would-be mugger while looking for a place to meditate in the hours before the biggest fight of his young MMA career.
He went on to capture the UFC light heavyweight title later that night, defeating Mauricio "Shogun" Rua at UFC 128 in decisive fashion.
During the post-fight press conference the newly crowned champion expressed the desire to take some time off and relax.
It appears that Jones will get some me time in the coming days, as he was recently asked to attend the premier of Like Water by the man the documentary film is focused on, UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
The following exchange took place via Twitter:
@SpiderAnderson Anderson Silva:
Lets go to my Premier event at Tribeca Film Festival to my Documentary " Like Water" if U can go let me know ok? RT @Jonnybones
@Jonnybones Jon Bones Jones:
@SpiderAnderson Absolutely, I just spoke to my manager and we're booking flights tomorrow
Like Water was filmed while Silva prepared for his title fight against Chael Sonnen at UFC 117. The film will make its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 21.
