“The Ultimate Fighter” Season 10 quarter-finalist Jon Madsen will meet Mostapha Al-Turk in a preliminary heavyweight bout at UFC 112 “Invincible” this Saturday at the Ferrari World Concert Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Eleven fights are booked for the promotion’s debut in the Middle East.

The unbeaten Madsen defeated Justin Wren by split decision at “The Ultimate Fighter 10” Finale four months ago in Las Vegas. The unbeaten 30-year-old trains alongside former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes and one-time EliteXC middleweight king Robbie Lawler at the H.I.T. Squad gym in Illinois. An Orange County, Calif., native, he was a three-time collegiate All-American wrestler at South Dakota State University.

A former Cage Rage champion, Al-Turk will carry a two-fight losing streak into the match. The 36-year-old London Shootfighters veteran has not competed since June, when he succumbed to first-round strikes against 2006 Pride Fighting Championships open weight grand prix winner Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic at UFC 99. Only one of Al-Turk’s 11 career fights has reached the second round.

Two title bouts will headline UFC 112, as middleweight king Anderson Silva collides with Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Demian Maia and lightweight titleholder B.J. Penn answers the bell against the once-beaten Frankie Edgar. In addition, Hughes will meet Renzo Gracie in a featured welterweight tilt; Gracie, 43, has never competed in the UFC. A lightweight duel pitting Terry Etim against Rafael dos Anjos will round out the main card, along with a showdown between “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 3 winner Kendall Grove and Mark Munoz.
