UFC star Frank Mir has unleashed a sickening rant about former WWE world champion Brock Lesnar — saying he wants to kill him. Lesnar lost on his UFC debut to Mir, but later defeated the Vegas-born star to win the company's heavyweight world championship. But ahead of talk about a third possible clash, Mir says he HATES Lesnar and wants him to DIE. During a radio interview with former WCW commentator Mark Madden, he stormed: "I want to fight Brock Lesnar. I hate who he is as a person. "I want to break his neck in the ring. "I want him to be the first person that dies to Octagon-related injuries." The shocking statement was made to uk journalists. |

Maybe he went a little too far there, but I can imagine he needs the anger to motivate himself. I am 100% sure that he will say "I respect Brock blah blah" after the fight if he would win. Sigh. Anyways, I bet this just makes it easier for Brock to be motivated too so it might bite back eventually, not good saying stuff like that imo but hell, its a sport and they are the players, let them play

Such statement is over the top for anything since this isn't wrestling scenario. Also it's bad for the sport. It will just add fuel for anti-MMA moaners. Even though death rate is by far below boxing one. And boxing is considered gentlemen's sport. |

dissapointed of Mir's comment, i need to hear it as well, to actually believe he said shit like that. If he did, he just lowers himself to Brock Lesnars Level, because lets not forget Brock talks a lot of crap too. Brock never had a braincell working, but Mir with this situation just showed his braincells are destroyed. A good fighter is a fighter, that gives respect to his opponent, i hope the new generation like Carwin and Velasquez are like that. |
