Intercontinental Flyweight Showdown tops stacked fight card in Northern California at LFA 192!

LFA announced that a baker’s dozen professional fights will take place at LFA 192 next month, when promotion returns to Northern California with a fight card stacked with international talent. LFA 192 will kick off a massive fight weekend with Noche UFC taking place the following night. This will be the twentieth LFA event to take place in the Golden State.

LFA 192: Climaco vs. Dias takes place Friday, September 13th at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, California. The main event will feature a flyweight showdown between Road to UFC semi-finalist Mark Climaco and Dana White’s Contender Series alum Victor “Paçoca” Dias.

“We are bringing another stacked fight card to Northern California at LFA 192,” stated LFA CEO Ed Soares. “The event in Santa Cruz will feature thirteen pro fights representing ten nationalities. That includes top Filipino prospect and Bay Area resident Mark Climaco, who is a five-time LFA veteran and was a semi-finalist on Road to UFC. He will return to Northern California for the first time in nearly 6 and a half years. Climaco faces top Brazilian prospect Victor Dias, who is a Dana White’s Contender Series alum and world-class BJJ black belt. This bout features two of the most accomplished international prospects in the flyweight division and will cap an unforgettable night of action for our fight fans in Santa Cruz.”

LFA 192 will feature a total of thirteen pro fights, which includes a trio of top fighters from Northern California that will be in action prior to the previously announced main event between Mark Climaco (10-2) and Victor Dias (12-3).

Buddy Wallace (20-10-1) returns to the promotion after scoring a highlight reel knockout last summer at LFA 165. The win came against Wallace Lopes in the promotion’s debut event in Santa Cruz and left the local fans wanting more. The Oakdale native is a Dana White’s Contender Series alum with a pair of regional titles to his name in the ultra tough Northern California regional MMA scene. Wallace will now face Lopes’ teammate Renato Valente (10-6), which sets up a battle between the main event and co-main event winners of LFA 165.

Daniel James Allen (5-0) will return to action one year after scoring the biggest win of his career. The win came on Dana White’s Contender Series against JaCobi Jones, who was the LFA lightweight champion at the time of their bout. Allen controlled their bout at the UFC Apex and won a Unanimous Decision, but is now eager to show the UFC boss a little bit more to earn that prestigious contract. The San Jose resident has that opportunity when he makes his LFA debut against former LFA lightweight title challenger Lucas Clay (10-3) on the main card of LFA 192.

Kendra McIntyre (3-1) will be making one of the most anticipated returns this year after landing “The Shot Heard Round The World” in her most recent bout at LFA 182. The five-time Muay Thai champion landed a Head Kick knockout that left her opponent Katarina Legorreta unconscious and sprawled out on the canvas. The viral walk-off knockout has generated tens of millions of views online and is a frontrunner to win Knockout of the Year. The University of California, Berkeley alum now returns to the Bay Area to face top Dominican prospect Criszaida Adames (5-2).
