Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) returns home once again to the historic Atlantic City Boardwalk on Friday, December 15, when the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City plays host to a pair of highly anticipated championship matchups, as well as a loaded lineup of fast-rising mixed martial arts stars, at CFFC 128.

In the night's main event, reigning CFFC lightweight champion Robert "Contact" Watley (13-3) puts his title on the line for the first time when he faces a promotional newcomer riding a six-fight win streak in Albania's Armando Gjetja (8-3). Additionally, the night's co-main event sees the vacant CFFC light heavyweight title up for grabs, with former CFFC NextGen champ Luke Fernandez (2-0) looking to capture a second belt for the promotion when he meets proven finisher Peter New (4-2).

Additional notables already confirmed for the card include perennial fan-favorite Eddy "The Taino Warrior" Torres (4-1), former CFFC NextGen bantamweight champion Riley Palmer (1-0), undefeated knockout artist "Ruthless" Robert Varricchio (4-0), six-time CFFC veteran Eric "Night Time" Nolan (4-2), undefeated bantamweight prospect Christian McAuley (3-0), Longo & Weidman MMA standout Anthony Dilemme (4-0), former CFFC NextGen flyweight champion Jerry Lleshi (1-1), and the always exciting Tom "Pooch" Picciano (4-1).

Watley earned the CFFC lightweight belt in July, returning from nearly four years away from competition and claiming an emotionally charged decision win over then-champ Cedric Gunnison. He now looks to defend the title and take another step in his mission of returning to the sport's top international promotions. Meanwhile, Gjetja looks to add to the recent successes of his countrymen Dennis "The Great" Buzukja and former CFFC bantamweight champion Vilson "The Strong Eagle" Ndregjoni as he steps into the CFFC 128 headliner on the strength of a run that includes three wins by knockout.

Professional wrestling superstar and two-time UFC veteran CM Punk calls the action alongside award-winning MMA journalist John Morgan.
