Background

In the Main Event, David “Redneck” Mundell defends his BKFC World Middleweight Championship for the first time against Mike “The Marine” Richman. Mundell is 6-1 on the strength of four straight impressive victories. He knocked out the previously unbeaten champ Francesco Ricchi in December to earn top spot in the stacked BKFC middleweight division. The challenger Richman is one of the most popular fighters on the BKFC roster since the former MMA standout stopped his first four opponents in the Squared Circle. “The Marine” is hungry to turn the page after suffering his first BKFC loss to Lorenzo “The Juggernaut” Hunt in their jaw-dropping, back-and-forth Main Event clash at KnuckleMania 3 in February.

In Friday’s Co-Main Event, Josh “D Day” Dyer and Jared “Captain Deadpool” Warren do battle in a highly anticipated rematch – this time with the vacant Interim BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Championship hanging in the balance. The hard-hitting pair first met all the way back at BKFC 12 in 2020, when the debuting Dyer handed Warren the first loss of his BKFC career. Warren is 4-1 with three knockouts since his turning-point loss to Dyer. Warren is taking his shot at redemption, but Dyer swears he isn’t leaving Florida without the BKFC Light-Heavyweight Title belt around his waist.

There’s no gold on the line, but Friday’s Feature Fight could easily serve as the Main Event for any BKFC card. The No. 3 contender in the featherweight division, Brandon "Superman" Allen (3-1, 2 KOs), hunts for his fourth straight win against the undefeated Seth Shaffer (2-0, 2 KOs). Both fighters are eager to stake their claim for the next shot at undefeated BKFC World Featherweight Champion Kai Stewart.

As always, BKFC Matchmaker Extraordinaire Nate Shook has done a tremendous job putting together a card stacked with must-see fights from top to bottom.

Serious title implications are at stake for BKFC’s fully loaded bantamweight division as No. 4 contender Ryan Reber looks to climb to 4-0 with a fourth straight KO at the expense of the No. 2 contender Travis "The Animal" Thompson (5-4, 4 KOs), a veteran of BKFC 1 in 2018.

In the featherweight division, Gabe "Warrior of God" Freyre (2-1, 1 KO) takes on Josh Wright (0-2). Prospects Ja'Far “Knox” Fortt (1-0, 1 KO) and Tim Hester (1-0, 1 KO) meet in an under-the-radar welterweight banger.

Friday’s action also features a pair of must-see female fights. Crystal Pittman tries to climb to 2-3 in the Squared Circle against the debuting Toni Tallman, and Martyna Krol (1-0, 1 KO) battles Gabrielle Roman (0-0-1).
