Background

It’s the final Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Fight Week of 2022, as BKFC Thailand 4 goes down Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand.

In the Main Event, Filipino UFC vet Rolando “The Incredible” Dy meets Thai striking specialist Apisit Sangmuang in a battle of debuting contenders. Dy’s MMA record is comprised of nearly 30 professional fights, including four under the UFC banner. Sangmuang, meanwhile, boasts a resume that includes 80 victories as a Muay Thai fighter and a professional boxing record of 10-3-1 with seven knockouts heading into his highly anticipated BKFC debut.

Saturday’s Co-Main Event is just as intriguing as the Main Event. All eyes are on Australian viral sensation Tai Emery as she tries to improve to 2-0 in the BKFC Squared Circle against top Thai prospect Chisakan "Po Denman" Ariphipat. Ariphipat is 17-1-1 as a professional boxer, undefeated in her kickboxing bouts and is eager to steal the spotlight from Emery, who made international headlines in her debut for her “not-safe-for-work” post-victory celebration.

Combat sports fans are rightfully excited to see the returns of Thai featherweight Krisana Sirsang (1-0), Thai lightweight Sarun Srioumboo (1-0) and English lightweight Victor Booty (0-1) on Saturday’s card. But this weekend’s action will serve as an exciting introduction for BKFC’s global audience to several exciting debuting international prospects, like Switzerland's Gligor Stojanov and Brazil's Gilbert “Tubaraobranco” Patrocinio, who meet in welterweight action in the Feature Fight. Other countries represented in the Squared Circle on Saturday are Algeria, Cambodia, Guam, India, Iran, Myanmar and Sweden.
