Potosino David Mendoza (7-2-0) comes from climbing again in the division with two consecutive wins, he is currently ranked among the top 5 in all of Mexico at 135 pounds (#8 in Latin America) and is one of the prospects on his way to becoming the elite of MMA in the world.
Before aspiring to a new option for the bantamweight title, Mendoza will have to overcome a rival who recently experienced a defeat against current champion Marco Beltrán, Rodolfo 'Fito' Rubio (18-12-1), from Chilango, former UFC and former TUF Latin America fighter, who seeks to make a mark in his new and renewed stage as a professional fighter.
